Is coffee included in the koffeeyap?
The koffeeyap covers matching and coordinating your meetup. You purchase your drink separately at the café.
I’ve created a profile. Am I ready to get matched?
There’s one more step: book a meetup and submit your availability. Creating a profile alone doesn’t put you in line for a match.
How do you choose who I meet?
We use your interests, preferences, and availability to find someone in your city we think you’ll click with. Our team helps review matches, so there’s a human behind the introduction.
Is this for dating or friendship?
Koffeeyap is for friendship. Meetups are one-to-one coffees with someone who also wants to meet new people.
Do I need to message my match or arrange anything?
We coordinate the time and café, and you confirm the meetup. There’s no need to start a chat or juggle schedules with someone you haven’t met yet.
What if I’m nervous or a little shy?
That’s completely okay. You’re meeting one person over coffee, with no pressure to impress or become instant best friends. You can start with a simple hello and see where the conversation goes.
Is this a subscription?
No. It’s $4 per meetup, with no subscription or recurring commitment. Book again whenever you’d like to meet someone new.
Do I have to stay in touch afterward?
No pressure either way. If you both enjoy the conversation, you can choose to stay in touch. Every coffee doesn’t have to become a lifelong friendship to be worthwhile.
